Billy Weston

Managing Partner, Co-Founder

Prior to forming Venn Capital Partners and its predecessor firm, Sláine Capital LLC, Billy was a Vice President with Key Private Bank where he was responsible for new business development while providing advisory services to high net worth families and institutional clients. Prior to Key Private Bank, Billy was a banker with J.P. Morgan where he led a team focused on business development and providing comprehensive investment management advisory services to family offices, foundations and endowments, and institutional clients. While at J.P. Morgan, Billy raised capital for select top-tier private equity, venture capital, and multi-strategy hedge funds. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Billy served as an equity trader for KeyBanc Capital Markets where he managed all aspects of equity trading coverage for his institutional clients.

Billy graduated from Hiram College with a B.A.in Political Science.  He also earned his Master’s Degree with a concentration in International Business from the University College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland.  Billy holds a Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS) designation, and the Series 7 and 66 registrations with FINRA. 

Billy is an Ironman Athlete, ultra marathon runner,  and avid cyclist.  He lives with his two sons in Cleveland, Ohio.

Nate Clemensen

Managing Partner, Co-Founder

Nate co-leads Venn Capital and has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years. Nate spent the last decade as a senior operator in the Alternative Investment space. Most recently, Nate served as the Chief Financial Officer of a $1BN real estate platform with assets nationwide.  Prior to that, Nate was a Managing Director at RMWC, where he managed all structuring, finance and operations, while also acting as the Chief Compliance Officer. RMWC is a national commercial real estate lender and registered investment advisor led by one of the co-founding partners of Bain Capital. 

Nate began his career in 2004 with J.P. Morgan where he was a banker and key team member of a team focused on business development and provided comprehensive investment management advisory services to family offices, foundations, endowments, and ultra high net worth clients in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

Nate holds a B.A. in Business & Economics from Wheaton College and SIE, Series 7, and 63 registrations with FINRA.

Nate is a native New Yorker, relishes any time he can spend in the Adirondacks and is an avid cyclist. He lives with his wife and five children in Cleveland, Ohio.
